The bloody mary was ordered "extra extra spicy" and it was! Apparently they infuse vodka themselves with hot peppers. Also, at this location we got mimosas and bloody marys. The "red-eye" (coffee with 2 espresso shots) was particularly good. Coffee was high quality, brewed appropriately. Their "add-ins / fillings" have a nice selection. Eggs were cooked to order, meats were yummy. Their sauces are well-made in such a manner as to be consistent, reliable examples of what they purport to be. I don't know what they use in their batter, but I'd pay for the actual recipe. They beat every pancake I've ever had in a pancake house. They're better than my homemade pancakes, and that's saying something. Just like in their location in Del-Mar, the pancakes were the best I've had in at least three decades. But this location was closer to some things we were doing down in the city, and it was a great experience. We also ate at (twice), and reviewed the location in Del-Mar, which was closer to where we stayed.
